Bobble of the Day Miami Hurricanes “Turnover Chain” Exclusive Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day

Mascot: Sebastian “Turnover Chain”

Team: Miami Hurricanes

Year: 2018

Manufacturer: Forever Collectibles

It’s a no brainier that the Hurricanes are the most “swag” filled team in all of college football. Fuck Alabama and Ohio State, as The “U” has been around for years, and if you’re a high school football player and you sign a letter of intent to go to Miami to play ball, then you’re the fucking man.

Two weeks prior to last year’s season, Miami cornerbacks coach Mike Rumph asked a local jeweler in Miami if he would make a rope chain that players could wear after forcing a turnover. He agreed and whenever forcing a turnover on defense, the given player gets to wear the “Cuban Link” chain on the sideline. It was a genius idea and even a better idea that the Bobblehead Hall of Fame decided to make a bobble of Sebastian the mascot wearing the chain.

Sebastian doesn’t have the “toughest” name in regards to mascots but once he puts the “U” sign up, he immediately becomes hard. The Cuban Chain is flexing right around his neck with tints of orange and green in replica diamonds.  The base has the Miami Hurricanes official logo on top flooded with colors and “The U” in raised letters on the front of the base.

Sniper Rating: This bobble is clean, swag filled and a must have for your collection. Make no question about it, you won’t see the amount of creativity in college football bobbleheads like the one your reading about right now. Lastly, the flashiness of the colored box makes this collectible stand out like an egg fart. Head over to the Bobblehead Hall of Fame as this Sebastian Miami Hurricanes Turnover Chain scores a staggering 10.0!

Bobble of the Day “Mr. Redlegs” Baller Series Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day

Mascot: Mr. Redlegs

Team: Cincinnati Reds

Year: 2018

Manufacturer: Forever Collectibles

Just last week I wrote a blog about the “Lucky” Boston Celtics Baller Series bobblehead. It’s now time to scratch the surface with some MLB ones. I personally think hands down, this Mr. Red Legs mascot one is a step above every other one.

Mr. Redlegs is beyond popular within the mascot game and given the fact that the color red looks always good on a bobblehead, this one stands out to me. Mr. Redlegs has a very basic pose but his baggy white baseball pants, all red socks and top hat will steal the show within your display cabinet. The “cut in half” baseball as a base shows tremendous detail and Mr. Redlegs name is front and center for every collector to see.

Sniper Rating: If you’re a bobblehead seller you well in fact know that any Mr. Redlegs bobble holds it’s value. There’s just something with Cincy fans that they love their mascot and rightfully so. This Mr. Redlegs Cincinnati Reds mascot bobblehead will 100% hold it’s value for years to come and it needs to be in your collection. Look no further Snipers and head over to bobbleheadhall.com and score it while they last. Once their gone they’re gone!

Bobble of the Day “Chris Sale” K Counter Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day

Player: Chris Sale

Team: Boston Red Sox

Year: 2018

Manufacturer: BD&A

I’m going to start off this blog by saying this Sale SGA bobble will easily be in the top 10 of 2018. And it’s not because I’m a Red Sox fan. I’m speaking the truth here. This thing is a fucking masterpiece of a collectible and BD&A absolutely destroyed the bobblehead game with this one.

We all know Sale is the best pitcher in the American League. The dude racks up more strikeouts than Arron Judge and Stanton combined, and that’s why the best team in the league created a K Counter bobblehead. On any given night you can bet the house on 8-12 K’s easily. BD&A has Sale in his “getting the sign from the catcher stance” which must be intimidating as fuck for any hitter. He’s got the skinny ass legs and the pose looks “identical” to Sale. Yes, IDENTICAL!

The facial features are spot on with the light beard and his hat structured around his dome is precise.

Sniper Rating: The most important feature to keep an eye on is the K Counter. The dials are super tight and they spin very well. They won’t run on you or get loose. These are tight fitting and sturdy as fuck. Any Sox fan knows that W.B. Mason is a huge sponsor and well loved by the Boston faithful and that’s why their logo looks killer on the dirt mound base.

The box is sharp looking and has a “classic” feel to it. An all white box with red lettering all around it makes it very eye appealing. I’m telling you Snipers right now, this Sale WILL be in the top 10 of best SGA’s this year. It’s just to well designed and looks exactly like Sale that it’s not even fair how good BD&A did with this one. My only gripe and if you don’t know by now you should, is it doesn’t have raised letters. If it did this would be a top 3 SGA of the year. I’m willing to look beyond this mishap by the manufacturer only because the bobble looks so damn good. This Chris Sale Boston Red Sox bobblehead scores a well deserved 9.5.

Bobble of the Day “Noah Syndergaard” Weekend Nickname Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day

Player: Noah Syndergaard “Nickname” Thor

Team: New York Mets

Year: 2018

Manufacturer: Forever Collectibles

So FOCO continues the trend here in 2018 and now we have Weekend “Nickname” bobbleheads. Only the top players in the game with a flashy nickname have their own bobblehead and I just scooped up the Noah “Thor” Syndergaard one. There’s been many “Thor” themed bobbles that many of us own, but this one is special.

The base has a “dirt mound” look to it with speckles of tiny rocks that lye on top. Thor”s name is of course raised letters and are multi-colored. I love the fact that Syndergaard is in a different pitching pose as a lot of the other FOCO retails tend to have the same pitching position. The all orange hat clashes very well with his Met blue jersey and orange arm sleeves.

Sniper Rating: The most critical feature is obviously the name plate that sits on back of the base. The name THOR is bright orange mixed in with the Mets logo. I’m all about creativity and FOCO has done it again to help us collector’s improve our bobblehead collections. This Noah Syndergaard bobblehead scores a 8.5 as he’s easily within the top 5 “best” pitchers in the Big Leagues.

Go to bobbleheadhalloffame.com and there’s about 10 different players in this “Nickname” series. I’m not to crazy on some of the other players, but this Syndergaard is a must have.

Bobble of the Day “Lonzo Ball” Breakthrough Series Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day

Player: Lonzo Ball

Team: Los Angeles Lakers

Year: 2018

Manufacturer: Forever Collectibles

We all know the Lake show didn’t make the playoffs but we all know the talent and potential for this team next year. And of course, Lonzo Ball is the center piece of this franchise. And that’s exactly why Sports Fan Island created this exclusive Ball bobblehead.

This is a cocky item for several reasons. The look alike “Hollywood” sign on the back of the base says Lonzo Ball in raised white letters. There’s two California pine trees on each side that you have to manually insert yourself which is dope because you can twist and turn them into any direction. The famous Lakers logo is practically smothered everywhere on this bobble and the colors pop like a preppy collar.

Sniper Rating: The sitting pose Lonzo is in sitting down with the ball underneath his hand is fucking incredible. He’s literally enticing your vision of him and he knows he’s the real deal. I can’t say enough about this Los Angeles Lakers Lonzo Ball exclusive bobblehead other than the fact that you’ll regret not getting it. Love or hate the Lakers or Lonzo, he will ONLY get better and will catapult his team deep into the playoffs within 3 years. You heard it here first and get your ass over to sportsfanisland.com and score this beauty! Click the link below and tell them Bobblesniper sent you.

Bobble of the Day Gary Dunaier “Thumbs Down Guy” Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day

Fan: Gary Dunaier (Thumbs Down Guy)

Team: New York Yankees

Year: 2018

Manufacturer: Bobblehead Hall of Fame

Fucking Gary Dunaier. The guy is a diehard Mets fan and he attended a game between the Yankees and Rays at Citi Field due to Hurricane Irma. Todd Frazier strolls to the plate, clocks a 3-run Homerun and Gary was not pleased. As soon as Frazier rounded 3rd base, Gary greeted everyone with a thumbs down motion, as he didn’t approve of the HR blast. Instantly, he became a famous.

Big Gary is rocking a standard blue button down shirt with black suspenders attached to his pants. It looks like the big guy just left work and wanted to catch a game to end his day. I’m sure he found his way to the food court to score a dog and a couple of beers.

Sniper Rating: If anyone would give the thumbs down signal, it’s definitely Gary Dunaier. The whole chubby guy with suspenders, over sized glasses and full beard, just fits the image of a thumbs down guy. All in all, special moments in sports whether it be humorous or historical, should be highlighted with a bobblehead. And that’s exactly what the Bobblehead Hall of Fame did. Props to them as this New York Yankees Thumbs Down guy bobblehead scores a solid 9.0 rating.

P.S. I forgot to mention an actual “thumb” is the entire base. Killer creativity by the guys over at the Hall of Fame. Score this one and pop it on your shelf.
