Bobble of the Day Boston Celtics “Lucky” Mascot Baller Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day

Mascot: Lucky

Team: Boston Celtics

Year: 2018

Manufacturer: Forever Collectibles

The Celtics have the longest and best winning tradition in the NBA by far, and yes, we also have the best mascot. Lucky the Leprechaun is the man and doesn’t matter what anyone says. Lucky is the shit and who wouldn’t want a leprechaun as their mascot? Just bouncing around The Garden for years, as he brings the Luck of the Irish to each game. Since we lost Kyrie for the rest of the year, we’ll need all the luck we can get.

FOCO, came out with a new 2018 series called “Baller Bobbles” and Lucky steals the show hands down. The base is a basketball literally cut in half with a bright green imprint of “Lucky” on the front. It’s got the Celtics logo as two stickers on the sides for extra swag. Lucky himself, is decked out from head to toe in Irish apparel. The yellow vest and bow tie with green clovers show how special this bobblehead is.

Sniper Rating: Lucky the Leprechaun bobbleheads are known to be very collectible and most are super hard to find. Celtics fan or not, this one needs to be in your display cabinet, as Lucky is a rarity in the mascot world. You just don’t see many leprechauns as mascots for a professional team, so this Lucky the Leprechaun Boston Celtics bobblehead scores a 9.4 rating without thinking twice. A super reasonable price of $30.00, look no further than scoring this at the Bobblehead Hall of Fame. Click the link below for a masterpiece of a collectible bobblehead.

2018 NBA Baller Bobbleheads (Presale)

Bobble of the Day “Ben Simmons Philadelphia 76ers “Exclusive Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day

Player: Ben Simmons

Team: Philadelphia 76ers

Year: 2018

Manufacturer: Forever Collectibles

Fucking Ben Simmons. The 76ers have sucked ass the past 10 years and you knew after getting all high draft picks, one would eventually pay off. And here comes Mr. Simmons. He’s playing 34 minutes per game, dropping 16 points, grabbing 8 boards and shooting 54% from the field. Only 21 years old and being born in Australia, this stud is here to stay in the NBA for years to come. Oh, he’s also fucking 21 years old to boot!

So FOCO provided us collector’s with a brand new Simmons exclusive bobble. The base is as authentic as they come. He’s in a rebounding stance with one foot on the famous “Liberty Bell”. If this doesn’t scream the heart of Philly, then you need to check yourself at the front fucking door. The 76ers logo sits firm on a circular emblem at the front of the base. The biggest detail to stand out is Simmons is rocking his all black leggings with a white arm sleeve. FOCO could have left those particulars off this bobblehead but they gave us extra effort.

Sniper Rating: In addition to the pinpoint detail on the body of Simmons, FOCO added a deluxe box with a clear window frame attached with a velcro piece. Very desirable to the eye. My only gripe, and you already know what it is, is the lack of raised letters. I consider this a drawback but not enough not to buy it. Given the fact that Simmons is doing what he’s doing in his rookie year, you CANNOT pass on this one. Super limited and soon to sell out, this Ben Simmons Philadelphia 76ers bobblehead scores a knockout 9.0 rating. The only place to score this is sportsfanisland.com

Philadelphia 76ers NBA Ben Simmons #25 Breakthrough Series 8" Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day “The Bird” Baltimore Orioles World Series Championship Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day

Mascot: The Bird

Team: Baltimore Orioles

Year: 2018

Manufacturer: Forever Collectibles

Fans down in Baltimore love their O’s but better yet, they love their mascot “The Bird”. The Bird may have the best two color combination in black and orange within the game. It symbolizes dominance and fear within their opponent. The Bird runs deep around Camden Yards firing up the crowd and lives and dies by every pitch.

So the O’s won World Series titles in 1960, 1977 and 1983. There’s major gaps within those World Series years, as the A.L. East has typically been dominated by the Red Sox and Yankees. Those 3 World Series years are highlighted on the back platform on this exclusive Baltimore Orioles “The Bird” bobblehead.

I love the raised white letters of the Orioles team name against the black front plate of the base. It shows that FOCO wasn’t fucking around. Of course “The Bird” is flooded with swag in his cocky pose holding up two shiny World Series trophies. The other trophy stands tall right in front so everyone see’s it. The most appealing feature that makes this bobble so dope is the Oriole logo that sits right on top of base. The wavy letters along with the Oriole Bird is a killer design, as FOCO did a hell of a job with this collectible.

Sniper Rating: Oriole fans love their bobbleheads and without question, this one needs to be in your collection. Who the fuck knows when the O’s win another World Series title, so having 3 trophies on one base is the best Oriole fans are gonna get for the time being. Given the fact that this Baltimore Orioles The Bird, is straight flooded with swag, I recommend bobblehead collector’s to score one at the Bobblehead Hall of Fame. This exclusive “The Bird” bobblehead receives a 9.5 Sniper rating.

Bobble of the Day “Aaron Judge” Caricature Bobblehead

Bobble of Day

Player: Aaron Judge

Team: New York Yankees

Year: 2018

Manufacturer: Forever Collectibles

Roughly, 6 months ago I reviewed the Noah Syndergaard caricature bobblehead, as I knew it was the best looking one in the series. Now comes along the Aaron Judge caricature bobble and it’s straight fire. Yes, I know I’ve bitched and moaned about how many Judge exclusives that have been manufactured within the past year, but this isn’t an exclusive. This is a cartoonish bobblehead and it’s of All Rise himself and it’s deluxe for sure!

Mr. Judge stands a firm 6 inches tall and has his gavel in hand, ready to smash a fuckin deep ball to the moon. His robe drapes down to almost his ankles and on the front has the white Yankees logo. I love the fact that FOCO added Judge wearing his white and navy blue batting gloves while holding the gavel. And for once, we have a Judge bobblehead that has his gap tooth showing as he smiles. These little features can make or break a collectible and the manufacturer nailed this one.

Sniper Rating: Let’s be real here. Judge looks like a hitman on this bobblehead. The dark colors of his robe, the hat pulled down low and of course a weapon in hand. He looks like he’s part of the mob and that’s why this caricature bobblehead has an enormous intimidation factor. The only bobbleheads I have within this caricature series are Syndergaard, Harper and now Judge. These 3 contain the most detail and the fact that they don’t take up to much room in your display case means they are all must have’s.

This New York Yankees Aaron Judge bobblehead scores a 10.0 without question and would be a swag filled collectible to add to your collection prior to Opening Day!

Bobble of the Day St. Louis Cardinals “Rally Cat” Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day

Mascot: Rally Cat

Team: St. Louis Cardinals

Year: 2018

Manufacturer: Forever Collectibles

Animals are funny little fuckers at times. So on August 9th of last year, a game between the Cards and Royals, was getting heated in the bottom of the 6th inning. Yadier Molina was facing a 1-0 count and all of a sudden out of nowhere, this cat came sprinting around Busch Stadium. He bolted out to center field and the crowd went bizerk. Finally, a grounds crew member scooped him up and as he proceeded to get off the field with the cat in hand, and the little fucker started to bite the grounds crew member. I personally, hate cats and I’m highly allergic to them but I can imagine how those sharp teeth feel going into your bare skin. Soon after, Yadier smoked a grand slam and the Cardinals took the lead. Great idea by the Cardinals honoring this feisty little cat and naming him the “Rally Cat”. Soon after, our friends over at the Bobblehead Hall of Fame designed this incredible bobblehead in his honor.

Rally is positioned on all 4’s with his paws spread right out on a super thick base. The name “Rally Cat” has raised white letters against the Cardinal red base which is a must have feature. He’s rocking a white jersey with the Cardinals logo on the front.

Sniper Rating: Shit like this doesn’t happen often during a baseball game and when it does, you gotta capitalize on the moment. Is this bobblehead rare? Shit ya it will be. The first batch has the white jersey on the cat and the soon to be next batch will have “Rally Cat” in a red jersey. The box is as detailed as they come and the overall structure of the bobble is sturdy as fuck. It’s got a nice width to it and will look phenomenal in your display cabinet. I highly recommend scoring this one even if you despise the Cards. It’s unique and it’s like no other collectible in anyone’s collection. This St. Louis Cardinals Rally Cat bobblehead scores a 9.0 with hesitating.

Here’s a short clip for your enjoyment as this was destined for the Cardinals to happen.

Bobble of the Day “Anthony Rizzo” Chicago Cubs Wall Catch Bobblehead

I wish every stadium had a cozy little brick wall, that you can jump up to show off the god given skills you were given. Anthony Rizzo did it at Wrigley and by the good graces of FOCO, they gave us his “Wall Catch” bobblehead. Besides the Willie Mays over the shoulder catch, this play is right fucking up there and will NEVER be duplicated ever again.

Rizzo is positioned on top of the wall, legs open and leaning to catch the pearl. I dig the blue pin striped uniform and the all-blue cleats. FOCO added some swag by having the ball bobble within Rizzo’s glove which is deluxe. Well done FOCO. The phrase “Top of the Wall Catch” is written on the brick ivy wall with a little crunched Cubs bag leaning against it. Snipers, these are the little details that can make a bobble not only a “must have” item, but a legendary collectible.

Sniper Rating: My only gripe about this bobble, is Rizzo’s name on the front plate of the base, is not raised. I would have thought with all of the extra swag FOCO put into creating this, they would at least raise his name platform to increase the likability for shit’s sake.

Overall, a future Hall of Famer, a swag filled bobble and an even better play. The degree of difficulty of this catch is off the charts and without hesitation, this Anthony Rizzo Chicago Cubs bobblehead scores a 9.5.

Here’s the catch in real time. It’s fucking ridiculous.
