Bobble of the Day “Milverine” Milwaukee Legend Exclusive Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day

Character: Milverine

Year: 2020

Manufacturer: Success Promotions

Recognized by his tall, strong features, John Hamann got his nickname Milverine because of his resemblance to Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. You can observe the Milverine walking all over Milwaukee shirtless in the summer months and the natives love it. “If you live in Milwaukee and don’t know the Milverine, there might be something wrong with you,” said a spokesperson from Milwaukee’s local brewing company Mobcraft. Hamann is literally everywhere and tourist look upon him as a local legend or better yet a celebrity.

The guys over at the Bobblehead Hall of Fame reached out to Hamann and low and behold, us collectors now have the chance to add a Milverine bobblehead to our collections. The bold lettering “Milverine” is raised on top of the base and Hamann is rocking dark black pants. The shirtless icon is know for his muscular figure and you can definitely see the chiseled frame on the bobblehead.

For a limited time only, the Bobblehead Hall of Fame have these in stock. If you’re ever in Milwaukee and you happen to spot the Milverine, make sure you snap a picture with him as he often is sometimes hard to find! Click link below to score your very own Milverine bobblehead.

Bobble of the Day Pete Alonso “Rookie of the Year” Exclusive Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day

Player: Pete Alonso

Team: New York Mets

Year: 2020

Manufacturer: FOCO

We all know what Pistol Pete Alonso did last year so there’s no real point in summarizing his top of the line accolades. What I want to highlight is the Mets have something special. Something that no other team has and not even the Yankees. They have the Apple. The apple symbolizes New York City to its finest. Whenever the Mets go deep, the Apple pops up behind the outfield wall. More importantly, when you can add a symbol or icon to a bobblehead, it makes it that much more special.

Pistol Pete on this Rookie of the Year and Homerun Champion bobblehead stands out from the rest because he’s the man in New York. Foco didn’t shy away from displaying Alonso sitting on the New York Mets Apple. It’s features along with his accomplishments on the curved back of the base is something to own.

Sniper Rating: Whether you’re a Mets fan or not, what Alonso did was beyond super fucking human. Yes, I know he’s technically an “older” Rookie but 53 bombs? Are you shitting me? This bobblehead is by far a must have and seriously and I mean seriously, when ever will this record be ever broken? I’m saying not in our lifetime.

Pistol Pete Alonso scores a hands down 9.4 rating. And by the way, this box is ridiculously detailed and full of color. Score this one asap Snipers at foco.com

Bobble of the Day Stephen Curry “Special Edition” Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day

Player: Stephen Curry

Team: Golden State Warriors

Year: 2020

Manufacturer: FOCO

By now we all know that Stephen Curry is the king in California and when it comes to excitement on the court, Curry is your man. I was fortunate enough that the guys over at the Bobblehead Hall of Fame sent me this Stephen Curry special edition bobblehead and here’s the review!

Without question, this is an eye-catching collectible to display. Including the base, Curry stands a good 10” tall as he driving to the basket on the Golden Gate Bridge. The replica bridge is pinpoint and says Golden State Warriors around the perimeter of the base which is an excellent feature. Curry’s name sits flush on the front of the base and you know what I’m gonna say. Yes, I would prefer raised letters for his name to make it more authentic.

Sniper Rating: Yes, Curry has many retail and SGA bobbleheads on the open market. In fact, Lids came out with a SMU Curry bobble a good 5 years ago with him shooting a ball on the GGB but it doesn’t compare to this one. This Curry catches the eye and it’s an overall clean yet swag filled bobblehead. The Bobblehead Hall’s website says it’s sold out which sucks but if you’re looking to add this gem to your collection, you’re gonna have to seek it out on Ebay. One can only hope we get back to normal life when this Coronavirus subsides, as this Stephen Curry Golden State Warriors bobblehead in the mean time would keep any collector satisfied for the time being. This Curry gets a strong 8.4 rating.

Bobble of the Day Ronald Acuna Jr. Riding Tomahawk Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day

Player: Ronald Acuna Jr.

Team: Atlanta Braves

Year: 2020

Manufacturer: FOCO

Let me start by saying that these “Riding” bobbleheads have been around since last year. Just about every “good” player has one. Some players are riding on a lighting bolt, a fish, a horse and a bear for example. I have less than a handful of some of these as I just see them as silly. I know the Tom Brady one sells for some good change but they look weird to me. I can’t find myself adding my favorite player to my collection that’s riding on a fish for christ sakes but this Acuna one is different.

The Braves are known for their Tomahawk Chop and the fans still continue to do the “chop” at home games.  I’ve always liked the chop motion as it symbolizes togetherness and given the state of this crazy world, I like it even more. We all know Acuna is a stud and with him sitting on the famous Tomahawk in a throwing motion is insane. As soon as I opened the box I knew this bobblehead was special.

Sniper Rating: Whether your a Braves fan or not, this one will look deluxe in your collection. This by far in my opinion is the most detailed riding bobble as the tomahawk itself is a solid inch thick and extremely sturdy. The box it comes in is gigantic and for only $35.00 at the Bobblehead Hall of Fame you can’t go wrong. Click the link below as I’m sure you are bored shit crazy at home with this “Stay at Home” movement. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed as this Acuna bobblehead scores a 9.2.

Bobble of the Day Atlanta Hawks Series Special Ticket Bobbleheads

Bobble of the Day

Team: Atlanta Hawks

Players: Trae Young, John Collins, Cam Reddish, Kevin Huerter, De’Andre Hunter

Year: 2020

Manufacturer: Kollectico

There’s been a lot of talk surrounding the bobblehead community given the lack of SGA bobbleheads not being offered to fans. We all know baseball is the prime season for giveaways and to date, there are some NBA bobble giveaways here and there, but nothing compared to baseball. The Atlanta Hawks Consultant Group Experience headed by my friend Emily came up with a great idea. She created the idea of giving out 5 different Hawks bobbleheads limited to only 250 of each player through a special ticket offer. You get the choice of buying a ticket to a game and choosing the bobble you want! This is a super exclusive ticket package and the fact that only 250 of each player bobble are made, makes this set harder to obtain.

I was lucky enough to score a full set from the Hawks and these are the real deal Snipers. The following players are included in the 5 player set: Trae Young, John Collins, Cam Reddish, Kevin Huerter and De’andre Hunter. Not only does each player have a different action pose but each base interlocks with each other. I love this concept as you can literally display these anywhere on a flat surface. These mini bobbleheads are great for the office desk, fireplace mantle or even in your bobblehead display cabinet. Furthermore, I’m a HUGE fan that the jersey colors on the players are not the same color. The mixture of white, black and red really make this full 5 player set pop.

Sniper Rating: I’m not going to sugar coat this bobble set because I was sent these as you know I’m a straight shooter when it comes to reviewing bobbleheads. I love this set. The facial features are precise and the finer details that include wrist bands, leg and arm sleeves and multiple colored socks are legit. If you’re in the Atlanta area you NEED to click the link below and score 5 tickets and choose a different bobblehead for each game you go to. Or even better yet, if Trae Young or De’andre Hunter is your favorite player and you want to grab multiples of their bobble, you have the option to chose the same player.

I love this set and you won’t be disappointed. My only gripe is I was hoping for raised letters on the front of the base but we can’t always get what we want. The fact that this 5 player set interlocks is an insane feature. Click the link below as tickets aren’t expensive and you’ll be happy that you did when you have this entire set displayed. Go Hawks!

Bobble of the Day Christian McCaffrey Carolina Panthers Exclusive Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day

Player: Christian McCaffrey

Team: Carolina Panthers

Year: 2020

Manufacturer: FOCO

Never second guess yourself when it comes to drafting Christian McCaffrey on your fantasy football squad. Or even better yet, the Carolina Panthers most likely would have laid an egg in the win column if it wasn’t for CMC. Literally, what can’t he do on a football field? The word “stud” is a complete understatement when describing McCaffrey. When you have just under 1,400 yards rushing, 116 receptions and 19 total touchdowns, you better be awarded with a smash hit bobble.

Foco once again dropped the sledge hammer with a brand new action pose bobblehead of Christian McCaffrey. My initial thought when I first got it was he’s taking the rock to the house for a TD. The circular base is gigantic with his last name and jersey number sitting dead smack in the middle. The Panthers are known for the “drum” pounding prior to the start of the game and that’s exactly what FCOCO highlighted. A replica drum sits flush at the center of the base and the phrase “Keep Pounding” is in a bright Carolina Panther blue color.

Sniper Rating: I’m a huge fantasy football guy and I didn’t get a chance to grab CMC. I was pissed but the fact that I even got a chance to watch McCaffrey on a weekly basis was incredible. The guy is an absolute beast and if it wasn’t for Lamar Jackson having a blowout offensive year, CMC would have taken the MVP award in the NFL.

If you’re not a big time bobblehead collector you probably don’t know this, but there are not a lot of CMC bobbles out there. He’s only been in the league a few years and for some reason retailers haven’t produced many of him. Now, given the variety of CMC bobbles being scarce, this thematic bobblehead needs a slot in your display cabinet. Never-mind the base looking deluxe, McCaffrey’s entire pose, head band and facial features are downright elite. I haven’t seen the original manufacturer’s box yet, but without question, this Carolina Panthers Christian McCaffrey exclusive bobblehead scores a 8.6. Click the link below and use code Sniper10.
