Bobble of the Day “Jose Altuve” Houston Astros World Series Championship Ring Base Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day

Player: Jose Altuve

Team: Houston Astros

Year: 2018

Manufacturer: Forever Collectibles

I started thinking the other day about how many hits Jose Altuve can honestly smack by the time his career is over. For the past 4 years he’s accomplished well over 200 hits each season. Yes, he’s only 28 but if he keeps this pace up the sky’s the limit. The past several years he’s been impossible to get out. He hits to the left side, the right side and up the middle. Maybe the best contact hitter since Wade Boggs? The only reason why he won’t reach 200 this year is because of a nagging injury. Lately, I’ve been trying to write my blogs on “worthy” bobbleheads. This Jose Altuve Houston Astros bobblehead is 100% blog worthy.

The standard Astros bobbleheads from their 2017 World Series titles are legit. The colors pop and they are well made. That being said, this exclusive ring base has it all. The oversized ring has replica diamonds surrounding the entire base. They shine and they’re bright. Everything a collector wants in a swag bobble. I love the pose in which Jose is running and tipping his cap. The orange jersey offsets all the silver/chrome colors and makes this collectible that much more attractive.

Sniper Rating: FOCO once again pleased us collectors with a masterpiece of a bobble. His facial features along with his stylish haircut makes this one as complete as they come. I wish FOCO poured more ideas to manufacture other players in this “ring base” style, as collector’s would jizz at the seam of their pants. The best place to score this is either through me or search Ebay. I refuse to give credit to the company who actually sells this as you will completely empty your wallet with shipping fees. I strongly urge you to not purchase this or any other bobble from the company I refuse to mention. If you’re in the “bobble game” you should know.

I love this bobble and it’s a one of a kind item to own. I’d never steer you wrong direction within collecting but this one is a knockout 9.5 rating. Here’s to Jose in hopes of reaching 3,000 hits.

Bobble of the Day “Mike Trout” Inland Empire 66ers SGA Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day

Player: Mike Trout

Team: Inland Empire 66ers of San Bernardino

Year: 2018

Manufacturer: Alexander Global Promotions

It’s been a minute since the last Mike Trout bobblehead was given out. As I’ve blogged before, Mike Trout has a gazillion bobbleheads that include retail and SGA. It’s 100% normal, as being the best player on the planet dictates so. The Inland Empire 66ers released a Trout last month of him in a hitting stance and now we have a wall catch pose. Any wall catch bobble of Trout is warranted in your collection. It doesn’t matter if it’s MLB or MILB, it’s a must.

So the Empires stay true to their baby blue colored base and I think it’s the best colored base in the world. His name comes with raised letters and really pops off the light blue color base. His entire body is glued dick tight against the wall to avoid breakage. Genius idea by the 66ers. The uniform itself is flashy as fuck as there’s baby blue strips all over and the bottom of his white cleats show a nice red color that stands out.

Sniper Rating: I typically critique the piss out of sponsor emblems if they get in the way or they are just stupid. For some reason, this SUNERGY Construction Inc. goes well with the hunter green wall. I have no issues with it and one has to assume SUNERGY paid a fuck load of dinero to slap their name on front of the wall that Trout is catching a ball on.

A classic Mike Trout bobblehead with him climbing to catch a ball off a wall. Given the sturdiness and pop to it, this Mike Trout Inland Empire 66ers bobblehead scores a knockout 10.0. Well done by AGP and they sure as hell didn’t half ass it with the box either. It’s completely juiced with photos and bright colors. Grab this collectible Snipers as over time, it will be that much harder to score.

Bobble of the Day Trey Burton/Nick Foles “Philly Special” Duel Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day

Players: Trey Burton/Nick Foles

Team: Philadelphia Eagles

Year: 2018

Manufacturer: Forever Collectibles

With all my heart I hate writing this blog and you all know why. I hate the Eagles and I hate the city of Philadelphia like most Americans do. I wanted them to lose sooooooo bad in the Super Bowl but you know what happened. I will give a crazy amount of props to the “Philly Special” play as you rarely see shit like that in any game, never-mind the fucking Super Bowl.  I won’t even explain the play as you should already know, as I would hoped you’d watch the Super Bowl. Just to be clear, I’m spending my time writing this blog not because I’m a Eagles fan, but the fact that this bobblehead is fucking dynamite. You never, and I mean never see a QB catch a touchdown pass in the NFL. You’d see that shit with Timmy Tebow at Florida, but never the pro’s.

Another exclusive bobble from the dudes over at Sports Fan Island and it doesn’t get better than this. Burton is throwing the pigskin off one foot as Foles is receiving the Touchdown with swag. The “Philly Special” is highlighted in raised letters on the front of the base with the Eagles logo in the middle. The Super Bowl emblem has a springy on one side of the base and the orange end zone pylon on the other. The back side of the base literally looks like a Madden playbook game replicating the “Philly Special” play. The X’s and O’s are a dope feature to go along with the crazy play.

Sniper Rating: Basically, this is a “Special Moment” bobblehead and there’s nothing wrong with that. The Eagles finally won their 1st Super Bowl title for their dump of a city of Philly. The animalistic fans deserve to enjoy this bobble, as it really was a unique fucking play. I personally give much credit to the guys at Sports Fan Island for manufacturing such a detail collectible for Philly fans to salivate over. Given the fact that I despise the Eagles and more importantly their fanbase, I will rate this exclusive bobble a stand up 9.0. There’s literally nothing wrong with it besides being Philly. Taken the fact that if it has anything to do with Philly, a full point is automatically deducted. Period.

Bobble of the Day “Shohei Ohtani” Pitch & Hit Duel Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day

Player: Shohei Ohtani

Team: Los Angeles Angels

Year: 2018

Manufacturer: Forever Collectibles

Alright, first things first. What you’re looking at is incredible. What I’m holding is epic. This is the first “Pitch and Hit” Duel bobblehead in existence. Without question this is a “must have” collectible and I don’t give a shit what player it is. The guys over at Sports Fan Island continue to dazzle us collector’s and their newest exclusive of Shohei Ohtani Los Angeles Angels duel bobble is fucking ridiculous.

The base has a pitchers mound and a batters box/homeplate as Ohtani both hits and pitches if you didn’t know and you live under a tombstone. Ohtani’s full name has raised letters on the front of the base with the Angels logo. He’s hitting in his red jersey and pitching in his white jersey that includes 4 bobble arms. Yes, 4! He’s pitching in one motion and swinging his big dick bat in the other. Sports Fan Island is so specific and thorough that they added half helmet/half baseball cap on top of the dome of Ohtani. It’s literally split down the middle and the creativity just never ends with these guys.

Sniper Rating: Fans who went to the Ohtani duel SGA bobble game in Anaheim waited 4 hours in sweltering heat. Our buddy Kloanz made a mock of the bobble and had many fans in disbelief including myself. If you gave me a full case of those bobbles in mint condition, they wouldn’t even come close to what Sports Fan Island just created. Given the fact that Ohtani is a fucking stud and has popularity coming out of his anal glands, this collectible is up there as one of the best retail bobbles of 18.

This bobble of Shohei Ohtani is technically sold out on Sportsfanisland.com and there’s no one to blame except yourself. They promoted it on all social media outlets as well as myself. If you didn’t jump on the opportunity then you’re shit outta luck. Period. Your best shot is Ebay and you’ll pay double for waiting so long to order it. Some slapdick in Ohio probably has one for sale and you can score it off him. An incredible bobblehead is an understatement, as this is a knock out 10.0. You’ll never be able to grasp how killer this is without being able to hold it in your palms.

P.S. The box is as deluxe as you’ll ever see.

The Boston Red Sox season thus far…

Listen, I’m not one to gloat about my Red Sox because I know the ship could sink quickly in the playoffs. You can literally win 115 games during the regular season and get bounced the fuck out of the playoffs faster than you got in there.

But this is a special team. Not because we are winning practically any game we play, but there’s no apparent weakness. Our hitting is tops in the bigs. Our pitching with the addition of Evoldi is downright nasty and our defense with 2 gold glove outfielders is tops in the bigs as well.

And this is not a gloat rant because we swept the Yankees. I know Judge and Sanchez didn’t play but either did our ace Chris Sale. I also realize things are different when we play at Yankee Stadium. The good thing that’s on our side is this past weekend, the Yankees looked vulnerable. Chapman looked absolutely lost and we downright have his number. Aaron Boone looked defeated in the worst way. Seeing video of him in the dugout with his hands covering his mouth was great in the eyes of Red Sox fans. He’s finally hitting a down whirl spiral and he clearly doesn’t know what to do. This also applies to Sonny “cry baby” Gray and others who have failed miserably.

I live and breathe by this team and any Sox fan has an extra step to them. What other team has done what we are doing in recent years? No one!

I pray the baseball gods don’t fuck with us in the playoffs and we keep rolling. This has been a phenomenal ride and it will continue. There’s nothing better than beating the shit out of the Yankees and watching their trash fan base curl up in a ball and cry for help.

If you haven’t been watching this team this season, it’s time to wake the fuck up.
