Bobblesniper vs. George Brett shitting their pants. Both True stories.

I love this story so much, I myself, almost shit my pants when I saw this video over 10 years ago. Classic baseball man’s story of a guy just trying to have a good time.

The closest I came to shitting my pants was back at Uconn. We all went to the bar and got totally lit and we came back to my dorm and ordered wings. 20 minutes after I finished, someone in the room told a joke and I laughed so hard, shit started to quiver out of my ass. I’ll never forget it.

Okay, it’s not a George Brett story but here’s for anyone that’s ever shit their pants or have even come close.

Be patient with the video as it’s a little scratchy.

Who wins the Homerun Derby?

For the life of me I cannot stand Chris Berman screaming back! back! back! back! I remember watching the derby as a kid and he annoyed the piss out of me. It’s essentially batting practice and you get to chose who throws to you. Is it entertaining? Yes. Is Berman annoying as fuck? Yes.

So the dark horse is Aaron Judge with his big swinging dick of a bat but I gotta go with Giancarlo Stanton. He won the thing last year and he’s home with the crowd right by his side. All these other clowns don’t have a chance.

If you’re a betting man, place you wager on Stanton. End of story and thank me when you get paid.

I’d rather my players who are on my team not make the All-Star team.

I’ve said it for years. I would rather no players from my team that I root for (Boston Red Sox) not make the All-Star team.

The MLB season is a fucking grind. Players traveling, playing, getting hurt, living out of a suitcase, and flat out exhausted after 162 games. Even mid-way through the season they are tired as hell. Now, pitchers are even worse. Someone like Chris Sale who throws 110+ pitches per game needs to rest. He needs to stay home, relax, hang out in the pool, get blown or whatever it is he does. I don’t want any of my players getting hurt in the All-Star game. In addition, pitchers get all jacked up facing the best hitters in the game and tend to over throw.

Now this won’t happen because the All-Star game is an event for everyone. It’s for the fans if anything. If Sale can throw a quick inning I’d be happy. If Kimbrel doesn’t get in the game I’d be happy. None the less, it is an honor to make the All-Star team but I’d rather have my troops rest up at home and get ready for the second half.

Was it really Steve Bartman’s fault? I beg to differ.

Everyone remembers the play when Moisés Alou went to catch the foul ball and was interfered with several fans. I really question if it was really Steve Bartman’s fault. Here’s why.

Bartman made contact with the ball. Yes he did. Was he leaning over like fans do these days like crazy? Not really. Fans these days fall out of their seats and most times fall over the railings on to the field! Bartman, I would honestly say, slightly leaned. He didn’t go bizerk and jump like crazy to catch the ball. And if you look, the scmuck right next to him was even more aggressive than he was! Just because Bartman made physical contact, he gets blamed. The Cubbie faithful needed to point a finger and Steve Bartman was the culprit.

I really question the fans on blaming him. If you must blame someone it should be both fans trying to get the ball. And as a result, Bartman got run out of town, death threats and pretty much his whole life ruined. I’m giving Bartman a free pass here. Fuck the Cubbie faithful Steve. You were just being a fan bro.

Enough is enough-NYPD officer killed during July 4th celebrations

A New York police officer was shot in the head execution style, as she sat in her vehicle early Wednesday morning in the Bronx, NY. Officer Myosotis Familia 48, was sitting in her car with her partner as her shift was about to end, when 34 year old Alexander Bonds walked right up to the patrol car window and shot her in the head.

I was planning on posting a “Motivational” blog to start the week after the long 4th of July weekend, but I felt this blog is warranted to bring awareness. This is disgusting. Enough is enough with this bullshit violence. What a way to bring down a fun weekend for all citizens by this senseless act. Just sitting in your car, ending your shift after protecting people and you get killed by some mother fucker? Words cannot describe this tragic event and this shit’s gotta stop. I’m at a loss for words. Just a very sad story but at the same time makes me very angry at this piece of shit. Like, how dark can your soul be to do this?

I guess the only positive thing about this, is when other officers responded, they gunned down the dick bag who did this. Gladly, he took his last breathe then a gunshot ended his pathetic life. Just an evil, evil act.

New wave of bobbleheads…Game Of Thrones

So this hit show Game of Thrones is taking off and I’ll be the first to admit I haven’t seen one show. Just like Star Wars themed bobbleheads that baseball teams are coming out with, now it’s Game of Thrones.

Apparently there is a huuuuuuge following as diehard fans love this show. Here are some examples of which GOT bobbles we will see this season.

Hunter Pence as “House of Pence”. I don’t really understand it as he’s sitting on a throne but it’s pretty damn good looking.

Taijuan Walker of the Diamondbacks with a silver/blackish costume and a shiny, glittery aqua face. This one actually scares the shit out me but it’s creepy cool.

Next, is J.D. Martinez of the Detroit Tigers as “House of Detroit”. It looks like he’s got all the dark black flashy gear on just chillin on his throne.

Then we have Evan Longoria of the Rays with a more happy look, as it’s just his face and hair. He’s sitting on his throne and doesn’t look to intimidating.

Here we have our first mascot in Southpaw of the White Sox, filled with yellowish/greenish colors and again sitting on his throne.

For a different pose is “Ser Andrew Benintendi of the Red Sox with some sort of cloak draped around him holding his bat like he’s got a 14 inch dick.

And last is “House of Bannister” of the Texas Rangers. Not too much of a “Game of Thrones” outfit as Bannister is decked out in his Rangers uniform.

I get the hype and obviously more fans will fill the seats in these ballparks just to get the bobblehead and here we have MLB making more money. Gimmicks like these is a tremendous idea. Teams have Game of Throne nights when a lot of people won’t attend a game in the middle of the summer. They do these giveaways on a random Monday or Wednesday night to fill the seats. I am going to the “Ser Andrew Benintendi” one because I’m curious to see what it’s like. From what I hear, the Red Sox will have characters there and you can have your picture taken while sitting on a throne.

I anticipate this “Game of Thrones” themed nights to take off just like Star Wars night did. Excellent marketing by all MLB teams and of course Major League Baseball itself. Time will tell and we’ll see what they look like. I think I’ll make my decision to start watching the show after I have the actual Game of Thrones “Ser Andrew Benintendi” bobble in hand.
