Vermont/Fireworks/Fenway Park/Bobbleheads Recap

So yesterday was a long day to say the least. We made a trip deep in the woods to the Green Mountain state of Vermont to score a bundle of Fireworks. I love Fireworks. It’s the ultimate “dude” thing to do. We got a fuck load of mortar’s and a ton of rockets. I have a few neighbors that I love pissing off and the kids around my neighborhood love them. Why not right?

This store had enough inventory to blow the fucking roof off of Yankee Stadium. I captured a few pics for you guys to see. For those of you who appreciate Fireworks will like this.

There was one item I had to get. It had my name on it and this tower of mortar’s, can blow up a fucking house single handily. How would I not get this???

What we walked in the door with.

After that haul was completed, it was time to head to Fenway. If I could I would live in Boston in a heartbeat. Everything from the streets to the people is flat out amazing.

Everything around Fenway is something every American should experience. Even the homeless have a huge sense of humor. I guarantee this fucking guy makes a shit ton of money from tips. I ended up slapping him with a $10.00 bill as he allowed me to take a picture.

The hour rain delay definitely sucked ass but it was an opportunity to whack a few beers. Killer seats and a dude next to me was eating a lobster roll. I asked him what they charge you for that. He shakes his head and says $25.00! I almost spilled my entire beer. $25.00 for a lobster roll!!! Wally and Tessie were in full gear representing the Game of Thrones night in style.

The Game of Thrones Benintendi bobblehead line wasn’t long at all. I met up with a few Boston Snipers and it was good seeing you guys.

Overall, what a day right? Fireworks? Bobbleheads and a walk-off Sox win. See all you guys for the Billy Joel bobblehead night.

Bobble of the Day “Noah Syndergaard” Caricature Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day

Player: Noah Syndergaard (Caricature Version)

Team: New York Mets

Year: 2017

Manufacturer: Forever Collectibles

Let me first off say that once I saw FOCO come out with these “Caricature” bobbles, I laughed. I know companies have to change things up as far as designs and what not, but these are quite different in the bobblehead world. Each player has a cartoonish design to them whether it’s a fat head, huge muscles, or gigantic biceps. I decided to purchase one that would be the most unique and it’s of yours truly, Syndergaard.

The base is very thick and has very wide raised letters. FOCO is listening to me because more and more bobbles produced by them come with “raised” letters. I dig the design of the base as it’s the shape of a mini baseball field with outfield grass, infield dirt and the bases. The actual size of the bobble is not as tall but is very wide. It’s a good sized bobble and not a mini by any stretch.

Sniper Rating: So Thor has a elongated face with a huge jaw and a very straight flat ball cap on. I love that he’s holding the hammer to represent that he’s Thor. The wings on top of the hat looks killer and the fact that they are orange pays tribute to the Mets colors. What really makes this bobblehead pop is the long, thick blondish, flowing hair. It’s super long to exaggerate Noah’s hair design. Overall, to collect the entire set is next to impossible unless you have a quick $1,000 to spare. I got this Syndergaard one and I’m happy with it. The box design is kick ass, as it’s flooded with the actual “Caricature” photo of the bobblehead and on the back displays his jersey with name. The pinstripe design with the main color being white is a fresh new look from FOCO. I’m very pleased with this new product from FOCO as they definitely put some thought and creativity into it. Noah Syndergaard and his “Caricature” bobble scores a 9.5.

Apparently I’m a liar when I attend a bobblehead game.

So, I went to the Game of Thrones (Ser Andrew Benintendi) bobblehead game last night at Fenway. It was a special ticket offer which means how ever many tickets you buy, that’s how many bobbleheads you will receive.

It was a long ass day as I made a trip to Vermont prior to the game. I got all the bobbles I purchased, put them in the trunk and took a picture. I titled the picture saying the phrase, “Game. Set. Match.” It was a tiring day and I won the day, as I want ALL of you to do.

Many of you Snipers posted messages on the Instagram post, asking how did I get so many and so forth. A few followers got furious that I did not say it was a “Special Ticket” and that I bought them. If you noticed after I posted the picture, I did not respond as I had a 3 hour ride home and then I went straight to bed. A few followers claimed that I lied and made it assume that I sniped a ton of bobbles.

First off, you ALL know I care about you and I always respond. That was my plan the following morning. I hate myself for even writing this blog as I have no one to answer to and there’s always a handful that ruin it for the rest of us. One follower DM’d me saying I’m a liar and that I think I’m a god! If anyone feels this way please unfollow me but in my eyes, I’m am the most trustworthy person to deal with. If you don’t like what I do and what I say then jump ship. I’m not mentioning names because I have more class than that.

Remember this as a lesson. People who troll and try and take you down are worthless. They don’t belong on this train and you all know that. There’s always a handful of doubters and I like it. If people aren’t upset with me then I feel I’m not doing enough. This drives my passion and I will only get stronger from this!

Bobble of the Day “Ichiro Suzuki” Hit Counter

Bobble of the Day

Player: Ichiro Suzuki

Team: Miami Marlins

Year: 2016

Manufacturer: Match-Up Promotions

For some reason, a shit load of collector’s are dying to get their hands on this one. If you look on Ebay, they are going for well over $100.00. I’m really not sure why. It’s definitely a cool bobble but this is considered one of the Marlins most sought out bobbles. I’ve seen many Hit-Counter bobbles, but this one is very desirable.

Ichiro is in his signature stance with the bat aiming in the air as he’s ready for the pitch. He’s also got his left hand pulling up his sleeve to get nice and cozy in the batters box. The facial features are on point and I dig the black uni top. The hit counter I assume is an added plus as you can track his hits. I’m not sure how many people are sitting at home and tracking his hits but it is a cool feature.

Sniper Rating: A unique bobble to say the least and once Ichiro gets inducted, many collector’s will seek this one out for sure. The overall structure and sturdiness to the bobble is just okay as it’s very fragile. I’m not the biggest Ichiro guy but I remember when Hideki Matsui retired, fans went crazy for his SGA bobble and I’m sure this will be the case for Ichiro. Not a must have for your collection but if you can score it for under $75.00 consider it a win. Ichiro and his hit counter bobble scores a 7.5.
