So when you go to a bobblehead giveaway game, does the guy handing you a bobble at the gate get one for himself? I’ve always wondered that. Think about it. What if he or she is a big fan of the team? What if they collect bobbles as well?
I wonder if upper management holds a box or two for the employees at the ballpark? And what I’m specifically talking about is the security team, the ushers and the 20 year old kids handing them out at the gates, not all of the concession people and bathroom attendants. If every employee that works there got one, then the team would have to save a couple hundred bobbles which is not the case here.
I also wonder if the employee at the gate that is giving them out to fans would steal one? Maybe put it in their backpack or purse if it’s a female? Maybe some employees ask their supervisor prior to the game if they can have one? I mean after all, aren’t they entitled to receive a bobble considering they work there? I’ve pondered this question for quite sometime as it intrigues me a lot.
Gun to my head for a definitive answer, I would think the team holds a case or two and they do a raffle at the end of their shift. Who the fuck knows. If any of you Snipers know someone who works at a major stadium please ask them for me. I’m very curious.

What is better then a Birthday bobblehead? Nothing! Here we go again with the Miami Marlins giving out another mascot SGA to the Marlin faithful. I continue to say that Billy the Marlin is the most underrated mascot in baseball. What in the hell is there not to like? He’s always decked out in bright colors and the fact that he swims in the beautiful Miami waters is as fresh as it gets.
This one is super cool as we all can celebrate Billy’s birthday with a bobblehead! He’s rocking the bday hat as he’s got one foot on a present that he’s ready to open. We all know how special birthday’s are and Billy is as proud as it gets with his arms on his hips. He’s pretty much taunting all his fans saying, “Ya, I know it’s my BDAY and I’m the shit”.
Sniper Rating: Of course Billy’s entire body is a covered in a bright blue color and his eyes and beak are very detailed. His gills on the side of his face are a nice shiny silver color which adds some flavor to his look. Match-Up Promotions nailed it with white raised letters against a black backdrop. Lastly, the Marlins never cut any corners with their SGA boxes, as this one is completely covered in bright colors to make it that much more attractive. There’s photo’s of Billy holding a birthday cake and balloons practically everywhere. Also, the Marlins made it a point to make sure you knew what kind of bobble this is by writing the phrase, ” Birthday Billy Bobblehead” on the side of the box. Well done Miami.

Broncos fans will love this one as the bobble is gigantic! Miller sits at 12 inches tall and has a base that’s sturdier than a concrete wall. Von is in a winning pose as he’s holding his helmet as he runs off the field. The width of the base is close to one inch and has superb “white raised” letters against a navy blue backdrop.
The top of the base is flooded with detail as FOCO included the Rocky Mountains out in Denver, Colorado. The miniature mountains are ridiculously sturdy and add a shit ton of finesse to the top of the base.
Sniper Rating: The facial features are spot on and Von’s nerdy glasses are his signature look so you know it’s him. On the Fidget Spinner is Von’s glasses with the Rocky Mountains and the Broncos logo engraved within. A very smooth spin as the triple blades have a SOLID weight to them. And once again, FOCO included a huge box that displays Miller in a black and white photo on one side and Miller’s name and number on the other.
The bottom line is defensive players in the NFL don’t get the attention as offensive players do. This one is an exception Snipers. Bronco fan or not, you need this one.
