Do you know how difficult it is to make the perfect bobblehead?

Bobblehead collector’s tend to think it’s easy to make a bobblehead. Yes, are friends over in China do a great job but why I’m so hung up on manufacturing companies, is because we spend our hard earned money on a product and we deserve the best quality that money can buy.

For example, take a look at this Conor McGregor bobble that Success Promotions made for the Bobblehead Hall of Fame. His hair is detailed perfectly as well as his facial hair. This product demonstrates tremendous effort put forth. A prototype is always sent to the company who must approve it first. Every little detailed is examined from the hair line to the sneaker laces and once it’s good, then the flood gates open to have the numbered desired made.

Check out the sticker tattoos’ on McGregor’s chest. There’s at least 5 different color combinations and the sticker has to lay flat on his chiseled chest! How about the base? All of that print mixed in with VERY CLEAR photo’s of McGregor is not easy. I’ll say it again, IT IS NOT EASY. This is the prime reason we pay for a killer product.

Success Promotions is on their way to top of the manufacturing pedestal. It will take time, but lately they have been hitting it out of the park.

I implore all you Snipers to pay close attention to the SGA’s you receive this upcoming baseball season. Pay attention to the manufacturing label on the bottom of the base. The more attention all of you pay to who makes our bobbles, the quicker we can weed out the companies who produce poor products (and you Snipers know who they are already). All it takes is one poorly made bobble and the rest is history. Here’s the Success Promotions website to take a look at what they’re doing.

Over populated bobbleheads have become very annoying…

Listen the best players in their respective sports get the most bobbleheads made of them. I get it. All fans get it. It’s a fact. But enough is enough after awhile. Lebron has a gazillion bobbleheads. SGA’s and both retail. The exclusive Lebron’s are getting way out of hand. Over saturating the market makes the value decrease dramatically. For example, if you’re a huge Lebron fan and you live in Ohio, how in the world can you collect over 35 bobbleheads of just Lebron? Keep in mind, once the King retires, companies will still manufacture bobbles of Lebron. Yes, he’s the greatest player in the world but I sure as fuck won’t collect every single one of his.

The same concept applies to Mike Trout, but even worse. The Angels themselves give out 3-5 bobbles of him per year! Then we have every single Minor League team that does a Trout. And lastly, the retails. Shop.MLB makes a piss load of bobbles of Trout and it’s getting stupid. Their most recent one is him walking with a stupid wagon. Over saturation is killing the passion of collecting!

Slowly, and I mean slowly, Kris Bryant is falling into this category with just to many bobbles made of him. Kobe Bryant and Steph Curry you can also add to the list.

The bottom line is yes, these players are all great and will be future Hall of Famers. Enough is enough and player bobblehead collectibility will see a dramatic decrease in sales sooner rather than later. You heard it here first from the Bobblesniper.

Bobble of the Day “Charles Barkley” Phoenix Suns SGA Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day

Player: Charles Barkley

Team: Phoenix Suns

Year: 2018

Manufacturer: 911!!!! Kloanz!

First and foremost, I wanna thank my man Jordan DeGroff for this SGA bobblehead. If you need any AZ bobblehead both retail and SGA, he is your man. Follow his Twitter feed at Bobbles-One.

Sir Charles!!!! You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for a Barkley bobblehead. Suns bobbles are a dime a dozen as there’s not many out there. I know the Phoenix Snipers are beyond pleased that the Suns did a bobble giveaway. Barkley played in an Era that included Larry, Magic and Hakeem and he should be commended for his tough-ass style of play. I can remember watching Barkley when I was 9 years old while my dad sipped on his Miller High Life and Sir Charles just plowed over defenders.

If I was at this game and was handed a bobble at the gate, I would instantly get chills. The box isn’t your standard shit white box as it’s flooded with photos and stats of Barkley. Sir Charles is rocking his purple jersey holding his MVP trophy from 1992. He’s got the red arm band on while his biceps are jacked. I love the fact that he’s actually wearing his “Barkley” sneakers as I can remember wearing a pair just like these when I was in middle school. The jersey and shorts are pretty well put together with the color combinations of black, orange and purple. Another positive is the base has a killer purple background with Barkley’s name in white raised letters.

Sniper Rating: Let’s really get to the point here. Yours truly “Kloanz manufactured this one. We all know how bad they are with the effort put forth in making their bobbles, but this one is much better. It’s well made, sturdy and has a good overall design to it. Now, there are still smudge marks all over the place which is typical Kloanz. Charles’ arms could have a little more definition to them as it looks like Kloanz just splatted some paint on and called it a day. As far as Barkley’s teeth, Kloanz just swiped the paint brush over his mouth and decided to not make any teeth. Very lazy move by Kloanz.

I need to see much more out of Kloanz than just this one. This is a small sample size of a lot of work that needs to be done from them. If the Angels hired them again this year for their SGA’s, then we can revisit this at a later date. Kloanz, as it seems has turned over a new leaf in 2018 and we can only hope they continue to get better.

As far as the item at hand, this Charles Barkley bobblehead scores a 8.5 and I’m more happy for the Suns fans than anything. They deserve a good product as they are some diehards out there in the “Valley”.

Bobble Faces Nailed it/Failed it

This one is a sure fire Homerun in my book! Sparky Anderson the legendary coach of the Tigers and Reds. Everyone knew Sparky cause of his white hair and white eyebrows. This bobble depicts Sparky to the T!!! Wrinkles in his face and the pearl white teeth. The white hair flowing out, is dead spot on and this bobble was nailed as an identical replication of good ole Sparky!

Bobble Faces Nailed it/Failed it

Jacoby is a good looking dude. Chicks go nuts over this guy. Seems like all the time you go to the park, the girls are hollering like they wanna bend over for him. Jacoby has many bobbleheads that include MLB and a lot of Minor League ones. The Lowell Spinners came out with a Ellsbury one a few years ago and he looks like a cartoon character. It looks NOTHING like the real Jacoby and the effort was poor in manufacturing this one. Listen, all bobbleheads made will not look exactly like the player or manager all the time, but this one is not even fucking close. A “failed it” bobblehead for sure.
