So the Round Rock Express came out with this beauty on May 5th. I have many Ryan bobbles in my collection and this one is definitely within the top 3. What’s better than to highlight Nolan than his 4th No Hitter bobblehead?
As you can see all lettering is raised and the colors are bright. The base is a medium brown color with white raised letters which looks badass within the backdrop. Nolan’s got his red cleats and sox to match the Angles colors within his jersey. He’s palming 4 baseball to show he’s a fucking boss by throwing his 4th No No. I like the fact that the manufacturer did not put a ball cap on Nolan as his hair combed has a “classic” look to it.
Sniper Rating: One thing that that was not mentioned the far in this review is the sponsor. WHATABURGER. I dig the sponsor sign right in front because it just flat out looks cool. Who doesn’t like the name WHATABURGER? Better yet, who doesn’t like a fucking burger? I’m also feeling the orange/redish color of the sign as it stands out and brings the attention of the eye right to it. Without a doubt this Nolan Ryan SGA NEEDS to be in your collection. Killer bobble, killer theme(4th No Hitter) and a KILLER sponsor emblem. A sure fire 9.0. A full point taken off due to the box being a boring, standard white color. Round Rock, put the extra money into making a colored box with various features will ya?
Motivational Tuesday
You win when you fall in love with patience.
If you’ve watched my vlog this week I spoke about being patient. It is the key ingredient and at the same time it’s one of the hardest things to control internally. Being patient requires so much self discipline you have no idea. I knew when I started my business that it would take me years to get where I want to be. I started this site last August and at first it was going very slow with activity, but with the dedication and hard work I’ve put in, it has gotten bigger. I still don’t believe I’ve reached the level I want to be and I gave myself a 6 year plan. That’s how long shit takes. When you can embrace patience and stick to it, you will win my friends.
Ebay Suspended me for a week for being a nice guy…
So over the weekend I received a message from Ebay that my account is suspended for 7 days. They said I broke protocol which I did, by doing transactions off of Ebay.
I receive a shit ton of messages over Ebay regarding if I can lower my price on a certain bobblehead. I don’t mind doing that at all because the customer saves money on the final price and I save on Ebay fees. Since Ebay blocks the use of email addresses, I typically take a picture of my business card which has my email address on it. Then the customer emails me and we complete the transaction strictly through Paypal. I’d say 85% of my sales are done through Paypal only. Ebay did warn me a few months back but I continued to help my customers as well as save on fees.
People who complain that bobblehead prices are high don’t know shit about the business. You have to acquire the bobblehead somehow, then pay 10% fees to Ebay when your item sells, 5% fees to Paypal and usually $1.00 for shipping fees. Yes, they charge you a fee to use their paper shipping label.
Listen, I know companies and everybody in general need to make buck, but Ebay are a bunch of leeches. Blood suckers! They constantly raise fees and since they own Paypal, Paypal has raised fees. It’s very hard to make a decent profit when your selling items on the biggest platform. The entire world searches Ebay because it’s where you will most likely find what you’re looking for. Now maybe, if Ebay kept their fees the same instead of constantly going up, people would enjoy using their services to sell items.
I guess for trying to be a nice guy to help people save money as well as myself, is the price you pay when you deal with the BIG BOYS of Ebay.

Decide what you want. Make a f*cking plan and work on that sh*t every single day.
I see so many people go through life and just flat out going through the motions. They don’t have a care in the world and they settle. They settle for being mediocre. They don’t care. And what grinds my gears even more is when they complain. I can’t go here and I can’t buy this. Well, make a fucking plan and execute on that shit and you will be able to fulfill your dreams and do the things you want to do!
