Motivational Tuesday

Some of life’s best lessons are learned at the worst time.

Have you ever fucked up and a teacher, mother or father says to you, “Did you learn your lesson”? It’s exactly what it means. Some of your best lessons in life are learned when you make a poor decision or poor judgement. The important thing is you learn from them and don’t make that mistake or choice ever again. Even in the business world, we all make mistakes and grow from them. Failing, which results in learning a lesson can be valuable to anyone that lives on this Earth. If you don’t learn from a mistake how can you possibly move forward? How can you grow? The answer is you CAN’T. When you’re at a point in your life where you hit rock bottom, the only way to get up is to learn, make adjustments and put every ounce of energy to accomplishing your goal you set forth for yourself.

Learn from your experiences and get better. Period.

Motivational Monday

Never give up on something you can’t go a day without thinking about.

When you have a lifelong passion for something, and all you can do is think about it day and night, never give up on it. Along the way, things will go wrong and shit will happen. You may be steered in another direction, or fail multiple times, but you have to realize to never give up. If you’re constantly thinking about it while your showering, taking a shit, whatever the case may be, you have to go after it. You have to also understand to be realistic. If you’re a 5’4 white dude that’s slow as fuck and you’re trying to make it to the NBA, you probably need to reevaluate your goals. Be realistic.

When in doubt, never give up and if your’e constantly thinking about it, then go full force and crush the fuck out of it. We only have one lifetime to live and you have to pursue your passion no matter what.

Motivational Thursday

Never stop doing your best just because someone doesn’t give you credit.

Working hard and busting your ass day in and day out is all you need. You don’t need a manager or a boss to tell you, “Hey, Great job Joey!” When you work hard and pay critical attention to detail, you start to develop important habits. Very important habits. Habits that make you work hard doing whatever it is you do. If you’re working at McDonalds and you’re cooking french fries, make sure you cook those mother fucking fries the best way you can. If you’re a Vice President of a bank, make sure you work to be the best VP you can.

Is it nice to get a pat on the back every once in awhile? Sure it is. But you’re not working for people to praise you. You’re working for you to better yourself. If you complain or bitch and whine that you didn’t get praise for the project you just finished, who gives a shit. People see the results. If it’s good, people will recognize you. Without a doubt they will. All you need to do is look in the mirror before you go to bed and tell yourself you worked your ass off today and pat your own self on the back. You know why? Because you got better today.

Motivational Wednesday

Be careful of people whose words don’t match their actions.

Nowadays, the majority of people are talkers. I’m going to do this, I’m going to do that blah, blah, blah. Fucking save it guy. When you’re in business or in a friendship be careful whom you interact with in terms of them saying they will do something. Personally, when I tell or say to someone that I’m going to do something I fucking do it. I hate people who never follow through on something they verbally said, or they come to you later with some bullshit excuse. Those people who act in this manner become acquaintances and no longer “friends”. Distance yourself from these people because they are useless. They can’t be trusted. Put your energy and faith in other’s who’s words match their actions.

Motivational Tuesday

Try not to become a person of success, but rather try to become a person of value.

Money is king. It’s great and when you have it and there’s no better feeling. But, when you create a startup business your goal should NOT be money, money, money! Your mindset should be, “How can I create value?” If you focus on the $ signs, you’ll make a few bucks upfront, but in the long run you will be broke as a joke. Solve a problem for someone. Your success will come in time when you solve peoples problems. For example, why do people collect bobbleheads? Why do they display them? Why? I’ll tell you why. They make people feel good. Someone may be a huge Cavaliers fan and if I can provide value by shipping a Lebron bobble to them, well that person finds a need that gets immediately fulfilled. They feel fucking awesome! Why do people go out and buy a nice new watch? Because it makes them feel good! Why do people go and buy a new shirt? Because they feel good! This applies to being a fan of a team or player and once that bobblehead is in their hands, they feel good! They feel closer to the team or player that they root for. Hence, providing value solves peoples problem. Period.

I set out on this bobblesniper journey to help people first, and success and money comes along afterwards. When starting out, I cannot emphasize enough to provide value and solve a problem first, as success WILL come down the road.

Motivational Monday

Shit happens. Everyday. To everyone. The difference is in how people deal with it.

Listen, all kinds of shit happens to everyone. No one has an easy, carefree life. Me, you, Aaron Rodgers, celebrities, you name it. Nobody knows everyone’s business, therefore ALL people go through difficult times. It’s how you respond to adversity and how you get up off the ground after getting punched in the face. Many people choose to lay on the ground and make excuses for their tough times. Don’t be that fucking guy. Get up, motivate yourself and continue to work on your goals. For me, there’s a lot of problems I face each and every day. Everyone just sees cool pictures and quotes and the lovely life of craft beer. Well it’s not all peaches. I work hard. I got a 2 hour training on how to use this website that was built for me. The rest I taught myself through hours and hours of work. It’s a lonely feeling when you don’t know what your doing and you can’t just call your neighbor and have him help you with the ins and outs of things. I was never a tech savvy type of dude, so I taught myself and it’s been fucking very difficult. At one point I wanted to shut the site down. I fought hard and NEVER gave up. Running a website when you don’t know what your doing is a very lonely feeling. You’re all by yourself with NO one to turn to. I continue to learn and get things right and wrong because I have the passion for it. I want to HELP everyone and make EVERYONE feel excited for a new bobble that comes out and the excitement of getting a new one. It’s a dope feeling and everyone has the right to feel this way.

Shit happens to EVERYONE. Remember that. And when it does, get your ass up and WORK. The results will come.
