Motivational Thursday

It’s ok if people don’t like you. Most people don’t even like themselves.

Really, who gives a shit what people think. I took a bobblehead to the grocery store last week and made a little video of “Lucky”, the Celtics mascot near a bunch of Lucky Charms cereal boxes for Saint Patrick’s Day. I had a Sniper message me asking if people look at me weird when I made that video in the middle of the store. My reply, FUCK NO! I don’t care what people think of me. I truly don’t and that’s what makes me a happy person. People or friends who don’t like you are either jealous or miserable themselves. They feel better about themselves by disliking you. The point is to not give 2 shits about what others think of you. You live one life and people come and go. Who gives a shit if Sally, Greg and Craig don’t like you. Fuck them and eventually, if you work hard enough, you can spray dollar signs right in their face.

Bobble of the Day “Stephen King”

Bobble of the Day

Author: Stephen King

Team: Lowell Spinners

Year: 2004

Manufacturer: Associated Premium Cooperation

Stephen friggin King man. THE MONSTER OF HORROR! I’ll be the first to admit that I have never read any of King’s books, but from what I’ve heard they are ridiculously spooky. For those that don’t know, Stephen King is an all time best selling author. He writes horror, supernatural fiction, suspense, science fiction, and fantasy. He’s co-directed several movies and he’s known to write the creepiest, scariest books on this side of the Earth. He’s from Portland Maine, and a huge Red Sox fan and the Lowell Spinners did a bobble giveaway of him back in 2004.

Considering Stephen King has fans all over the world, this bobblehead is a crazy collector’s item as the demand for this one is huge. He’s standing on 3 of his famous books that include,

The Dead Zone

The Green Mile

The Dark Tower

As you can see the base is made up of 3 of King’s best selling books and it’s extremely unique. He’s holding a bat and wearing his Red Sox jersey as a diehard fan. The facial features look EXACTLY like King and the letters of his name on the back are raised and not half assed. Stephen is known for his dark black glasses and this is what he is wearing on this bobble. Of course he’s wearing a Spinners hat as they are the one’s who did the giveaway.

Sniper Rating: If you’re a book reader or King fan, this has to be in your collection. Even if you don’t collect bobbleheads this STILL needs to be on your bookshelf. My only knock on this bobble is the sponsor emblems, as they take away a little from the excellent features of the bobble itself. Tyco Electronics? Merrimack Valley Credit Union? Eh, they’d be better off with no sponsors for a high caliber bobble like this. Creepy, spooky Stephen King and his 3 book base scores a 8.5.

Motivational Wednesday

Do something about it!

Stop complaining! Oh, you were poor growing up, you were born a minority, you don’t have a car, people may make fun of you, you complain success will take to long? Grow the fuck up and stop bitching about everything that doesn’t go your way. Here’s the ingredient, you work! You work on your shit after 7:00pm until 11:00. Put an extra 3 hours in a few night a week. Don’t go to the bar with Tommy and Glenn and talk about stupid high school shit that doesn’t matter. Get grinding and work. Shut the trap and do something about it!

Motivational Tuesday

Any friend that turned into an enemy has been hating since day one.

If your friend was truly a “good friend” and then for whatever reason turns his back on you, that must tell you something. I’ve personally have seen this type of situation more than I’d like to have. You have to dig deep and really get a good feel who your friends really are. A lot of times there is some type of hidden jealousy or secret dislike and once you become successful, those feelings come out in some of your friends. If this happens, it sucks but at least you know who your “true friend” really was.
