Bobble of the Day
Mascot: Miami Maniac
Team: Miami Hurricanes
Year: 2019
Manufacturer: Forever Collectibles
The Hurricanes are known for the “U” symbol with the official mascot of the Hurricanes being Sebastian. What most fans don’t know is the baseball team has their own mascot, The Maniac. Miami’s baseball never gets the recognition they deserve as they are often out shadowed by the football team. The baseball team year after year is ranked in the top 25 in the country and are down right nasty. At home games you can see The Maniac go ape shit when the Hurricanes score a run. The Bobblehead Hall of Fame thought of the idea of creating a bobble of The Maniac, as you just flat out don’t see many college baseball mascot bobbleheads. Yet again, another phenomenal idea by the guys at the Bobblehead Hall.
By far the most eye-popping feature on this bobble is the color variation. The mixture of orange, green, tan and the multi colored hat is downright attractive as hell. The simple stance by The Maniac holding a bat and ball in each hand is such a boss move. He’s cocky and he knows the Canes on the field are contenders every year.
Sniper Rating: We live in a bobblehead world with very few mascot bobbles within the college game so this is a no brainer to add this to your collection. Given the fact of its rarity and only 1,000 were manufactured, this Miami Hurricanes “The Maniac” bobblehead will be a an asset to your collection.
