Bobble of the Day
Player: Lebron James
Team: Miami Heat
Year: 2014
Manufacturer: Forever Collectibles
So we got a dope Bron Miami Heat bobble here of his famous “Push Down” movement when something good happens on the court. Usually, Lebron is involved some way or another, but he patented this move. I’ve seen celebrities do the “Push Down” and a few weeks ago I saw Odell Beckham do it in the end zone when he scored a TD. It’s a universal move and it’s catching on as much as “The Dab”.
So I love the Throwback Red uniform FOCO put on this one. The bright red colors really pop and it’s a definite eye catcher. The base is considered a “Logo Base” as it depicts the Miami Heat. I love the raised letters of his name in white which offsets the black background on the front of the base. The kicks, socks, knee pads, arm sleeve and the extended head band shows detail like no other. Very well done FOCO to include those intrinsics on this rare bobble.
Sniper Rating: Lastly, what really makes this bobble special is the fact that Lebron has the “open mouth” after he’s made a game changing play. The facial features are on point and the open mouth showing the teeth is incredible. You don’t need to question whether this belongs in your collection as you already know what I’m going to say. I’ve said it a million times, we will NOT see a player of this caliber again in our lifetime again. Hate him or love him, he’s the best we’ve seen since MJ. Period.
Push Down Lebron scores a perfect 10.
