Bobble of the Day

Player: Ichiro Suzuki

Team: Miami Marlins

Year: 2016

Manufacturer: Match-Up Promotions

For some reason, a shit load of collector’s are dying to get their hands on this one. If you look on Ebay, they are going for well over $100.00. I’m really not sure why. It’s definitely a cool bobble but this is considered one of the Marlins most sought out bobbles. I’ve seen many Hit-Counter bobbles, but this one is very desirable.

Ichiro is in his signature stance with the bat aiming in the air as he’s ready for the pitch. He’s also got his left hand pulling up his sleeve to get nice and cozy in the batters box. The facial features are on point and I dig the black uni top. The hit counter I assume is an added plus as you can track his hits. I’m not sure how many people are sitting at home and tracking his hits but it is a cool feature.

Sniper Rating: A unique bobble to say the least and once Ichiro gets inducted, many collector’s will seek this one out for sure. The overall structure and sturdiness to the bobble is just okay as it’s very fragile. I’m not the biggest Ichiro guy but I remember when Hideki Matsui retired, fans went crazy for his SGA bobble and I’m sure this will be the case for Ichiro. Not a must have for your collection but if you can score it for under $75.00 consider it a win. Ichiro and his hit counter bobble scores a 7.5.
