Motivational Wednesday

Focus on shit that matters.

Time is the number one thing you can never get back. Instead of procrastinating and dicking around watching pointless TV shows and drinking beers at Happy Hours, get your ass to work. So many people have lost track of their goals and that tells me they don’t want it. So, if you don’t want to improve yourself then don’t complain that you don’t have the things you want and the vacations you dream for. Focus on the shit that matters most!

Bobble of the Day “Mike Ditka” Exclusive Bobblehead

Bobble of the Day

Coach: Mike Ditka

Team: Chicago Bears

Year: 2017

Manufacturer: Forever Collectibles

Mike friggin Ditka Snipers. What’s there not to like about this guy? The guys over at Clark Toys didn’t hold back on creating this exclusive not one bit.

A solid 8 inch bobble celebrating the Chicago Bears 1985 Championship of the famous coach Mike Ditka. If you want detail, then here’s your answer. Coach Ditka has his signature navy blue Bears vest on, over top a shirt and tie and rocking the 80’s shades. The pose Ditka portrays can’t be more exciting. Big Mike, just fist pumping, as his Bears win the Super Bowl with his mustache and mouth open as he screams.

Sniper Rating: Let’s get to the direct point here. The 85’ Championship flashy ring, that Ditka is standing in, makes the bobble. It’s flooded with diamonds around the perimeter with the Bears logo dead smack in the middle and raised “World Champions” letters. When was the last time you displayed a bobblehead with the actual player, mascot or coach standing in a Championship ring? The answer’s never. For $40.00 you can’t go wrong scoring this bobble. Only limited to #750 made, this one will go lighting fast.

Coach Ditka and his 85’ Championship Ring bobble scores a 9.5.

Head over to clarktoys.com and proudly display this on NFL Sundays.

Motivational Monday

You don’t have to show them. They’ll see it.

You all know I advise you guys to work on your shit after hours and skip watching Homeland for a few nights. You don’t have to show or prove to anyone what you do and how you do it. Don’t be that guy that comes into work all sluggish and tell a co-worker, “Ya, I was up until 1:00 am last night working”. They aren’t impressed and they don’t care. That simple.

The moment you open your mouth is when you created something or when you’ve reached your goal. Maybe one day you roll in with a brand new all black Range Rover and your buddy Steve may ask, “Whoa, how’d you get that?” Then you said, I worked my ass off for it.

What does Bobblesniper exactly mean?

What does Bobblesniper exactly mean?

To this day, I still get a lot of interesting questions regarding the name Bobblesniper. What does is actually mean? Well, to straighten out your curiosity, I’ll explain.

To me this whole bobblehead passion is a game. I always mention the “hunt” of collecting. I love the hunt of scoring bobbleheads. I love going to the games and waiting in line. I love the adrenaline rush when the security team is watching the fans and who is scoring extras. It’s a game to me. To this day, I still get super nervous and full of anxiety before the gates open. I also like getting a great deal on a bobble from Ebay whether it’s a “buy it now” or an “auction” style listing.

According to Wikipedia a “Sniper” is the following:

A sniper is a marksman who operates alone, in a pair, or with a sniper team, to maintain close visual contact with the enemy and shoot them from concealed positions or distances exceeding their detection capabilities. They generally have specialized training and use high-precision rifles and optics, and often feed information back to their units or military bases.

In addition to marksmanship and long range shooting, military snipers are trained in a variety of techniques: detection, stalking, and target range estimation methods, camouflage, field craft, infiltration, special reconnaissance and observation, surveillance and target acquisition.

I tend to mostly work alone and only on special occasions will I will bring someone else to a game. Prior to entering a game, I always have to keep visual contact with the enemy (The security team). I always detect the precise location (gate) to enter the stadium and what works best to score extra bobbleheads. I never had any training as I’ve trained myself. Also, a Sniper hides. He’s never seen. If I’m ever at a game, I will NEVER speak or say hello to ANYONE prior to going in. I choose to stay hidden while I plan out my Sniper attack. I’d rather talk to you when the dust settles and we can chat and have a beer when the game starts, but NEVER prior.

Remember, I don’t necessarily do this for myself. The main reason I Snipe extra bobbles at games is for all you guys. Many of you cannot make a game over here on the East Coast if you live in Cali, so it’s excellent trade value to have extras. This also works both ways when I cannot attend a game that’s far away.

So that’s the history and meaning behind the “Bobblesniper” name. It’s all about the hunt and passion within the game.

Motivational Thursday

Hate is heavy. Let that shit go.

Hating people is a deep thought. When you hate someone, it flat out takes to much energy within your brain. You end up fixating on hating that person so much that it takes away from your intended goal. Have I ever said I hated someone or thought it? Of course. We all do. It’s human nature. I’ve learned over the years to let that shit go. It’s not worth your energy and who ever that person is you hate for whatever reason, it will come back to them some way or another. The key is to be positive and spend the time on YOU, not them.
