Motivational Wednesday

The best thing I ever did was believe in me.

There’s going to be people all around you who don’t believe in your dreams. Just because they can’t accomplish the things you are doing makes them insecure. When life gets hard, they choose to quit. Always remember to believe in yourself and let the other’s who criticize you quit and remain miserable.

Motivational Tuesday

My life, my choices, my mistakes, my lessons. None of your business.

In order to become the master of your field, you must go through many obstacles, mistakes and setbacks. Anyone who who says it’s an easy ride knows NOTHING. While you climb the ladder, especially in the beginning, it will be very challenging. People will judge you and talk about you but you must block it out and don’t worry. This is your life and you were meant for greatness!

Bobble of the Day “George Brett”

Bobble of the Day

Player: George Brett

Team: Kansas City Royals

Year: 2014

Manufacturer: Forever Collectibles

So the Royals had a few years with a run of their “Bobble of the Month” series which ended abruptly like most MLB teams. The last year they ran the program, they decided to highlight George Brett in many of them and it’s a damn good reason they did.

This beauty highlights George Brett in the World Series Game 7 in which the Royals beat the Cardinals 11-0. George went 4-5 with 2 runs scored as the Royals clobbered the Cards.

The base is in the shape of the Royals logo and has the game score from the actual game. I love the gold trim around the bottom perimeter of the base as it blends in perfectly with the royal blue color. Mr. Brett is in a winning pose after beating the Cardinals to win the World Series title. His arms are up and he’s holding his ball cap in his right hand.

Sniper Rating: The uniform is spot on and the stir ups feature and old school look which makes this bobble flashy. His facial features are just “okay” as i think FOCO made George Brett look 10 years younger but who’s to complain. This limited edition bobble is roughly 10 inches in height and is quite heavy for the bookshelf.

A historical accomplishment with the best player on the team going 4-5 in Game 7, this bobblehead deserves nothing less than a 9.5. Well done FOCO.

Patriots Day In Boston

One of the most important games of the Red Sox season is always the third Monday in April. It’s better known throughout Massachusetts as Patriots’ Day.

After the Boston Marathon bombings on Patriots’ Day in 2013, the game holds even more significance throughout New England.

The Rays and Red Sox square off at 11:05 a.m. ET in what marks the 50th consecutive season the Red Sox have hosted the Patriots’ Day game.

This will and always will be the only MLB game starting at 11:05 in the Majors. This is more important than just a baseball game. This marks the events of the Boston Marathon Bombing and this game is for not only the city of Boston, but the entire country itself. Make sure you tune in as the pre-game activities will make you feel better as an American.

This day is about America and one must feel proud living in this country every day considering the current events in Ohio which is a tragedy. God bless America!

If this doesn’t create a tear drop the you better check your blood pressure.
