Bobble of the Day

Player: Joe Morgan

Team: Cincinnati Reds

Year: 2012

Manufacturer: Forever Collectibles

My only memories of Joe is when he used to broadcast Sunday Night baseball for ESPN. I personally never saw him play because I was to young, but from what is said, the guy was a stud.

This Cooperstown Hall of Fame plaque bobblehead is the shit. The red base stands out with the Reds logo and Joe’s number 8. His name on the front is white and blends in well wit the red backing of the base. The 2X championship trophies on each side of Joe add a lot of flavor to this one. Now, we have Joe just standing there like a boss holding his 2 MVP awards. I dig the old school stir ups with the all white socks. The Cooperstown HOF plaque that secures the back side of the bobble was a genius idea by FOCO.

Sniper Rating: All signs point to Joe Morgan as a quality guy but even a better ball player. He was part of the Pete Rose era on the Reds and the team was dominant for many years. Any Reds fan needs this in their collection as it’s not only a collectible item, it’s a piece of history.

Joe Morgan and his many accolades bobblehead scores a 9.0.
