Bobble of the Day
Player: Mike Trout
Team: Los Angeles Angels
Year: 2015
Manufacturer: Forever Collectibles
So MLB came out with this “Exclusive” Trout bobble back in 2105. It highlights his 2012 AL Rookie of the Year award and his 2014 AL MVP award. In the bobblehead world, Trout isn’t the most popular player believe it or not. Many of his bobbles you can find on the web on pretty much every site. There’s a lot of love for Mike out in Cali but I’m assuming his games are on so late that folks like us over on the East Coast don’t get a chance to see him play every day.
Anyway, this bobble is cool as shit. The facial features look very close to what Trout looks like. It’s got two circular emblems on the base that bobbles and one highlights his 2012 ROY award and the other his 2014 MVP award. The red leather batting gloves add an awesome effect as Mike is saluting the crowd by a hat raise. Lastly, the base reminds me of the American Flag as red, white and blue colors are splattered all over the place on it.
Sniper Rating: There are plenty of these still available on the web and you need to get one. I almost waited to long buying this as I totally forgot about it. It’s an easy one to miss but it shouldn’t be. I’m actually mad I just got this recently, as this should have been purchased back in 2015. At the end of the day, this Mike Trout bobble is an absolute must have. It’s very unique, the colors stand out and it’s of the greatest player in the game right now. Finally, Mike Trout will have so many career accomplishments but this one will be the first to highlight his ROY award and his 1st AL MVP award. Basically, this one will only go up in value the better he gets. Mr. Trout and his double “bobble” emblem gets a 9.5.
