If you lose a friend because you’re honest, it wasn’t a good friend.
I’m really sick and tired of people who are either dishonest or won’t tell it like it is. Enough with this “beat around the bush” bullshit talk. Whatever the situation is, tell the truth to your friend. They need to hear it. I love it when my close friends tell me the god’s honest truth and not sugar coating it. Whether I said or did something wrong, tell me the truth! Come at me and I typically am very thankful for them telling me how it is. It makes me a better person and this way I can learn from it more importantly.
If the tables are turned and you tell them the truth and they can’t handle it then they must not be as close as a friend that you thought. What is the point of beating around the bush and not telling someone who you care for the truth? Why lie? What good is it? From now on, be honest, tell the truth and a good friend will accept it and more importantly respect you for being honest.
