So as the season of full blast SGA’s is coming to an end, it’s only right for me to rank the top 10 Stadium Giveaway Bobbleheads of 2017. I want to make one thing very clear to all of you. My top 10 rankings are ONLY ones that I own. There were HUNDREDS of bobbleheads given out this year between Major League Baseball and the Minor Leagues. Therefore, this is clearly my rankings based on what I have in my collection. There were many bobbleheads that I either didn’t want in my collection or I couldn’t get. That being said, I don’t wanna hear any bullshit from anyone that says that a certain bobble should have been in the top 10. I will also list honorable mention ones as well after #1 is revealed.
So, here we go.
The top 10 bobblehead rankings are solely based on the following factors.
- Player Likability
- Detail
- Rarity-How hard was it to get
- Value-What it’s worth on the open market
- Uniqueness
- Design and creativity of the box
- Sturdiness
Stayed tuned for #10 coming soon!
Dear Bobble Sniper,
What a treat to come across your website as I was searching for S.F. Giant bobbles on E-bay. I came across (and bought!) what looks like a great collection of 13/each for the price of $145. (that includes shipping!). I’ve “casually” collected S.F. Giant bobbles for many years–mostly as giveaways at the stadium (I’m a 31-year season-ticket holder). But lately the idea of really ramping up my collection to make it a more enjoyable hobby has started. Upon receipt of these bobbles, my collection will be at 50/each Giants bobbles. **Many thanks for your advice on how to display them, as the acrylic hockey puck and baseball holders make nothing but sense, re; enhancing the visual appearance of the bobbles on the same shelves; This past weekend I saw an ad for a great looking pyramid-shaped lighted curio cabinet with side-opening doors, so I contacted the seller and picked it up yesterday for $50. it should hold the 50, and maybe a few more, so I think I’m off to a solid start.
Until I checked out your website, I really had no idea that so many people were as involved in this fun hobby as it appears they are! Thanks for the help in getting my collection off to a solid start and I’ll continue to check out your website for more info as time passes. Until then…
All the best,
Bruce
