Bobble of the Day

Player: Yoenis Cespedes

Team: New York Mets

Year: 2017

Manufacturer: Forever Collectibles

So Cespedes rode into this year’s Spring Training on a horse named “Candy”. After the Mets were crowned National League champs last year, Cespedes took it upon himself to ride in on his “high horse”. He’s a huge car buff but this one morning during Spring Training he chose a horse. I like the idea and it’s kind of cute but I have a major problem with it. If you are the talk of the town, you think your shit don’t stink and you sign a huge contract, please make it a point to stay on the field and quit this nonsense with these stupid injuries. If he played 140 games and only missed a few then this “horse riding” thing would be warranted. Yoenis now looks like an asshole. The big guy on the horse and he always finds himself on the DL. Enough ranting, let’s get to the bobble.

I love the apple shaped base with the Mets logo and colors flooded all over the place. You know what I’m going to say next. SHIT, PISS POOR sticker name. It looks cheap and FOCO could have spent the extra .30 cents to make the letters raised.

Everything else looks great on this one. The horse is sturdy as fuck and very realistic. The Cowboy hat looks flashy and I’m glad the manufacturer put the neon yellowish sleeve on him.

Sniper Rating: I love this bobble. It’s a must have for any collector but I don’t like the player on it. He’s cocky and making a lot of money and he’s flat out not living up to his contract. That really pisses me off. If you’re going to ride into Spring Training on a horse, and make the money that is given to you, you better hit 45 bombs, bat .330 and knock in 125 rbi’s.

Yoenis the player scores a 4.0 and the bobble itself scores a 9.5.
